Well, we happend opon a new toy we weren't planning on getting for awhile. A friend of ours called one day and said a person he was working for had a pool table they wanted to get rid of. It is a used pool table that was hardly used. So when we were in Altoona for Megan's friends birthday party, we decided to go look at it. After some debate we decided to buy it. We had talked to a guy at a pool table store about putting it together, and he didn't recommend us doing it ourselves. That may have been his opinion, but it didn't cost us $750 either. So when putting it toghter, we didn't relize that bees wax (used for the seams and the screw holes in the slate) was not a common thing to find. I did find some in a town north and west of here. Did you know not only is it hard to find but costly too? Matthew is definitly well rounded in about everything, because it didn't seem to be too difficult for him to put the table together. It turned out to be quite the stress reliever, and the kids make great spectators.
