We started out with a not so good Christmas Eve day with someone cancelling it, but that turned around when we decided to go to church after the lights went out because of the ice. The roads really weren't so terrible as long as you take it slow. We made it to church and sat with Dad and Jane (Nathan was serving). We then got invited to eat at their house and the meal was tasty. We had a good evening. The roads were getting slick by then, but Matthew drives in this all the time with the mail route in a little dodge dynasty, unless there is a sufficient amount of snow then he takes the pickup. Christmas morning the kids were so excited to see and open their gifts. We went to Matthew's Mom and Dad's house for lunch and had a good time opening gifts. Megan got her own camera. A kid drop proof one by Fisher price of course. Michael got a IH tractor set and he was happy. He really didn't care to open much else. We watch movies, laugh and had a fun time. Saturday Matthew and the kids went sledding as you see in the pictures earlier. Sunday we went back to his Mom and Dad's for a Allison dinner. The good was great and there were treats galore. The kids got more great gifts, and us girls had a fun time taking pictures of each other with each other and trying to get the men involved was great fun and work. It really turned out being a great Christmas weekend. I hope you all had a great one too given the weather.
Some of these pictures were taken by Jane some by me and some by Megan with her camera.
